It has been revealed that BIGBANG’s Seungri got into a minor car accident involving a rear-end collision with a fan’s car in China. He has reportedly gotten into car accident after being chased by a Sasaeng fan.

The incident took place on December 23, 2013 at 11pm after Seungri made an appearance at "Super Starry Christmas" event in Shanghai, China. When he was on his way back to his dorm, his car was followed by his staff’s car, and behind them, was a fan following Seungri.

A van, rented and driven by Sasaeng fans, collided with the bodyguard’s car trailing right behind Seungri.After the impact by the van, the bodyguard’s car hit the vehicle carrying Seungri from behind. It was also reported that neither Seungri, nor the passengers of the other cars have been injured as it was a minor collision. The fans who caused the accident were held by the police but Seungri requested in favor of his fans, and as a result the charges were dropped.

“Yesterday, Seungri got into a traffic accident in China. A fan chasing him hit the staff van, and Seungri, whose van was in front of them, got hit as a result. Fortunately, the accident was not a serious one and he was not injured. After the incident, we were contacted by the Chinese police, asking what action should be taken. We asked them to treat the fan leniently.”

According to sources on Weibo and Twitter, the crash was minor and Seungri wasn’t reported to be injured. Accounts say that he complained about a slight pain in his waist/hip. Meanwhile, accounts say that the bodyguards are injured but no official sources has confirmed yet.

That is the Sasaeng fans who holding BIGBANG’s lightstick while Seungri’s car seems to be the one located in the middle of both the Sasaeng’s van and his bodyguard’s vehicle. The Sasaeng’s van was reported to have been chasing Seungri’s car.

It is relieving to hear that Seungri suffered no injuries and is able to continue with his schedule. Actually I wasn’t expecting to hear this news. BIGBANG used to known for having the least Sasaeng fan following. But they’ve gotten an influx of new fans. Younger fans in Korea and the new Chinese fans. And these people don’t seem to know that the worst thing for a group are Saesang fans. All the popular groups have tons of Saesang fans but not as worst as SM’s, just my opinion.
